My hire experience was fab! Clàudio is lovely and he takes pride in offering a professional and honest service. He was so helpful. The van is a perfect retro getaway, with lots of lovely little features. Van camping isn’t really done on Madeira - so chances are, you’ll find some beautiful spots all to yourself - I passed so many on my travels. The van is super economical too - a trip from Funchal, to Porto Moniz, up and over the mountains and down to São Lorenço and back to the airport only cost me €17. Claudio includes a portaloo in his price too - others don’t, which I don’t think is especially responsible really, given how some people treat nature…One suggestion I’ve made is to include clothes pegs in the van, to help close the curtains fully…and you should take electrical tape to cover the green lights (on switchboard for water/fridge/shower etc - it’s mentioned in another review).Did I mention there’s a hot shower?!All in all, a very positive experience- I’ll definitely be back to Madeira and will certainly request to rent from Clàudio again. very nice van, very clean and had everything you need! (toilet & shower were super clean and also very useful on the island since most camping spaces didn‘t have any facilities) Saul also helped us with getting the permit for the camping spaces in the center of the island, which was super nice! Gran Canaria is a very cool island to travel with a camper. we really had a wonderful holiday! - Yescapa
We had a great time during our week-long trip along the coast and in the mountains. The vehicle is reliable, kept us warm at night, even in freezing temperatures outside, and didn’t have a problem with anything. It was perfect for our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). It also seems to have plenty of power on the highway. - Yescapa
We a great time in the camper. Sillvy and Jamie were fantastic and had kitted the van out with everything we needed. What an adventure we had up to North Wales. We were never cold at night despite the sub zero temperatures, with the vans heating system. We will definitely be borrowing him again. - Yescapa

Victor is very nice and friendly and explained everything which was very helpful. We were able to communicate in English with no problem. The car was nice with everything we needed (even the towels, which we did not expect and brought ours). There was no problem with anything during our 10 days in Lanzarote which we enjoyed very much. It was the best Christmas holiday ever!! We totally recommend!! Next time we will choose Victor again for sure ;) - Yescapa
Alex and Maria are great hosts and speak good English. Communication was perfect and always on time. They explained how to use the camper properly and what are the recommended spots to stay overnight or do the serwis. The camper is equipped with everything you might need along the trip (kitchen plates and cups, towels, bed sheets chairs and a table to sit outside). There is a toilet and shower with hot water. Solars on the roof ensure electricity independence. The camper is still fresh and handles very well. I received the deposit back on the same day as returning the van. I'd rent the camper from Alex and Maria next time I'm in Tenerife. - Yescapa
Great experience with renting the Autocaravana from Alex! We were renting it for the first and none of us had driven a Autocaravana before! Alex made it very smooth for us, he explained in detail about everything in the vehicle and was very patient with us! He was always available over phone whenever we needed something or had a question during our trip! The vehicle is top class! It was very comfortable to drive and handling it on all types of roads was easy and manageable! We were very safe inside the vehicle while driving & overnight stays! Highly recommend Alex! It was our first experience with a van a it was fantastic! The owner Adan was verry kind and great, he explain everything, what you need, the van has every equipment what you want such as bedsheet, dishes, pillow, blanket, outside shower, sink, hotplate, everything. Definitely it wasnt the last time that we bought this van. Thank you Adan ! :) - Yescapa
Hele oplevelsen omkring leje af Christoffers camper var rigtig god. Der var lidt problemer med at få Yescapa hjemmesiden til at acceptere vores uploadede dokumenter , men Christoffer hjalp os igennem. Camperen er af ældre dato, men alting fungerede, som det skulle😁 - Yescapa
Our experience was very positive. Antoine went through the running of the vehicle very thoroughly. It suited our needs perfectly. It was very clean and there was everything you would need to have a comfortable trip. The best part about the vehicle was that you did not have to plug into electricity, the battery enabled you to have lights and charging overnight without plugging in. We had a slight mechanical issue with the vehicle meaning we had to visit a mechanic twice but Antoine communicated very well and we were able to proceed. - Yescapa
Hi, We love to explore with the campervan, it's not our first time. But this time we didn't had such a good experience. The car was absolutely not safe to drive with. First, he didn't started....needed new battery, going with the owner to buy a new battery... The speed couldn't be controlled. Sometimes when you want to lower speed, the car keeps the same speed or even going faster. This is not convenient when you go downhill. Then you need to brake more and the brakes getting too hot. Sometimes the engine shut down during driving, when this happens you have no power anymore on the steering wheel , you dont like this when you are on a curvy road.  Also the heating of the front of the car wasn't working. You need this now this time of the year, it was freezing cold during driving.  We mentioned those things to the owner but for him this all was not a problem !?!?! The person who was handing over the car was really responding our messages. So...we will never rent again from this owner. But besides all this we enjoyed the most we could - Yescapa
Javier's bus was super, een mooie camper die door het compacte formaat geschikt is voor alle uithoeken van tenerife. Alles is aanwezig, zelfs een warme douche! - Yescapa
The best way to experience Lanzarote in full, volcanoes and beaches! The van offers you essential accommodation with everything you need to experience the island in full. We enjoyed it for 10 days. Martin is a very kind and friendly person, everything went smoothly. Island offers you spots with amazing sunrises and sunsets, each spot is unique and some spots are not accessible with bigger vans, but with this one, no problem at all. It is also the best van to visit towns because it is the right size for all parking spaces across the island. The refrigerator is practically a very good insulated box which needs to be filled with ice. Ice is available in all supermarkets so cold beer is no problem at all. If you are looking for an authentic experience in nature, this is the right choice. - Yescapa
Jaro and his partener were really nice and helpful, both welcomed us and showed us the van, also giving us a few tips for our trip, including suggesting a parking app with plenty of places that you can park all around the island. The van itself is so well equipped, and really has everything you need : cooker, full size fridge, hot water shower, toilet, camping table and chairs. Owners always available for any questions or problems, and replied promptly to all messages. Highly recommended! - Yescapa
The Nugget car and the rental experience from Catalin was absolutely amazing. The car (Nugget) is super comfortable (loved that it has the seating area with table and a kitchen on the bottom floor and the bed on the top). It is quite compact and we did not have any problems making it even to the less accessible miradors. The car comes with great equipment (camping chairs, table, hiking poles, lights, hammocks, extra batteries ideal for workaway…). The kitchen is good enough to really cook properly. And while it has the luxury of an RV, it still keeps the soul and magic of a van. Loved it and totally recommend! - Yescapa
We were happy with the overall experience of the van. We had everything we needed. Perfect for the 4 day trip and would have done longer. Carlos is very helpful and friendly we hope to make more trips to Lanzarote and would love to rent the van again - Yescapa
