We talk about further damage when a claim occurs on something that already had visible damage on the inventory of fixtures. The cumulative damage must be verifiable and quantifiable and noted on the inventory and photos must be taken before and after the rental.
When a case of further damage does not allow repair and results in compulsory replacement of the damaged item for an amount lower than the deductible or not covered by insurance, part of the replacement costs may be charged to the owner, depending on the extent of the damage initially present, up to 50% of the replacement value.
