« Canela » Your house on wheels in Europe

We’re renting out our magnificent sprinter “Canela”, our house on wheels that we finished last yeasr. She’s very powerful and although she’s big, she’s very easy to drive. The comfort inside is remarkable, as we wanted to equip it with all the luxuries we lacked in our previous van, while retaining the cozy feel of a small wooden chalet.

Winter life can be tough in a van, so there’s a water heater for doing dishes or even for a hot outdoor shower and a heater for those cold mornings when it’s hard to get out of bed. For the cooking enthusiasts, there are three stoves and an oven. The dormitory has a large bed with an excellent mattress (2m x 1.40m). It is possible to build a third bed for a small person (1,20mx80)).

The living room is spacious and can accommodate up to 5 people. There’s plenty of storage all over the van and the garage has large drawers, perfect for storing all your gear.

Are you a climber? If so, and you’re coming for a climbing holiday, this van is made for you. No need to travel with heavy loads on the train or plane. The price includes training equipment, a fixed hangboard, a single rope (80m), a double rope (60m), two harnesses, a grigri, 20 quickdraws, two reverso’s, carabiners and slings for the belay. So it’s up to you to bring your climbing shoes and motivation.

Our insurance in all inclusive (AXA) and road assistance (VAB) and legal assistance(DAS) everywhere in Europe.

The deposit is 800 euros and will correspond to the maximum amount of the franchise in case of an accident.

It’s also possible to to take a cancellation insurance if you wish.

Canela is based in L’Argentière-la-Bessée in the Hautes Alpes. If you are coming from far away, from Belgium or the North of France, we recommend you to take the night train from Paris Austerlitz to L’Argentière-la-Bessée. This train is not expensive, costing between 30 and 60 euros. We are also open to transport Canela to another meeting point if you wish (Briançon, Gap, Grenoble,...).
