VanCaptain - The First

In this classic Transit model, VanCaptain was born from a long time dream and it was planned and built during the year of 2019.

It was initially for personal use and carefully thought to be comfortable and elegant. Perfect for couple trips or for groups of 3.

Its wood interiors and two layers of insulation helps it stays fresh in summer and warm during winter. It has a standard size double bed (195cm x 140 cm) with a super comfortable made in Portugal mattress. Underneath it, it has plenty of room for the rentals luggage and also for the outdoor table and chairs provided.

The dinning area transforms into the second bed for the 3rd passenger by placing down the table.

The kitchen area is equipped with a fridge with a mini freezer compartment, campingaz stove and all the crockery needed.

The WC is equipped with a chemical portable toilet and the recent hot water shower!

The two 100W solar panels (200W total) recharges an independent 250Ah AGM battery, enough to supply energy for all the electrical components. The Van has 4 USB sockets, 2 cigarret sockets (12v) and 1 220V socket (equipment with 400W maximum). The F65s Fiamma awning allows to make better use of the outdoor area on sunny days.

To make the stay even more comfortable, we provide bed linen, face and body towels, extra blankets for the coldest nights and few more things (bluetooth speaker, kitchen welcome kit, rechargable flashlight, etc..).

*The only extra fee charged is for the use of cooking gas and chemicals for the portable toilet - €20/rental (please notify if not required).

If needed, the following items may be provided for renting:

  • Surfboard 7'0 (€60/rental);

  • Actioncam SJ8 Pro (35€/rental);

  • 5G Hotspot (35€/rental).

You are covered for damage to the vehicle and other mishaps on the road. The driver must be at least 25 years old and have held a driving licence for 3 years without suspension. 24/7 roadside assistance
If the vehicle is immobilised due to a breakdown or incident, you will be taken care of by our assistance partner until the vehicle is repaired or your return is organised. Yescapa tells you how to contact the assistance and all the steps to follow in your insurance certificate. This warranty includes 0 KM assistance and works on all roads in Europe.

Secure payment
When you pay on Yescapa, the vehicle owner's remuneration is kept in a single and secure wallet until the day after you leave on rental. So, no unpleasant surprises, the owner welcomes you on the day of departure to prepare your first steps with his vehicle. A few days later, the remuneration arrives in the owner's bank account.

Departure security
If you are unable to start your rental due to a vehicle breakdown or for reasons related to the owner, our team will offer you other vehicles that meet your travel criteria, or you will be fully reimbursed.
